Schedule your conference calls in your LinkedIn DM’s!

You can book your video calls directly through LinkedIn!

Good old LinkedIn have made it even easier to connect with each other – don’t you just love them?

If you want to ‘link out’ with someone (to know what that means you’ll have to head to my blog on my website!) all you have to do is:

  1. Go to their profile
  2. Click ‘message’ (as long as you’re connected to them)
  3. Click on the video icon
  4. Choose whether you want to connect with Blue Jeans, Microsoft Teams or Zoom
  5. Either click ‘start meeting now’
  6. Schedule meeting for the future

It’s SO easy!

However, there is (I’m afraid) a catch. ?. It doesn’t link to a scheduler! So even though there is the facility to book a meeting in advance, it doesn’t link to your diary so, if you’re like me, you’ll probably forget to join!

So, good for a quick, ‘let’s jump on a call now’ kind of thing but maybe we should stick to our usual systems for now.
